Ignacio Isern is a lifelong athlete, international PGA golf professional, and performance-focused coach with over 20 years of experience helping golfers play better and enjoy the game more.

Born in Spain and raised in the U.S. from the age of five, Ignacio grew up playing and excelling in a wide range of sports, developing exceptional athletic ability, coordination, and competitive instincts. He ultimately chose to focus on golf, competing successfully at every level—from junior golf to high school, where he was MVP at Chico High School, and then played NCAA Division I golf at Saint Mary’s College of California.

In 2005, Ignacio returned to Spain and turned professional, beginning a career that combined high-level competition with elite coaching. Over the next two decades, he worked across Europe, Asia, and the United States, holding leadership and coaching roles at some of the most respected golf facilities in the world, including:

• PGA Coach at the Elite Michael Campbell Golf Academy (Marbella, Spain)

• Head Teaching Professional for IMG at Ba Na Hills Golf Club (Da Nang, Vietnam)

• Head Professional at Pestovo Golf & Yacht Club (Moscow, Russia)

• Director of Golf at Envision Golf (Portland, Oregon, USA)

Throughout his career, Ignacio has coached 25,000+ hours and worked with golfers of all ages and abilities—from beginners to elite players, executives, and competitive amateurs.

What sets Ignacio apart is his ability to identify the root cause of a player’s struggles and fix them in a simple, efficient, and individualized way. Rather than forcing golfers into a system, he builds each program around the player’s body, movement patterns, mindset, and goals—creating faster improvement, greater consistency, and more enjoyment on the course.

Today, through Chico Golf Academy, Ignacio brings world-class, tailored coaching to Northern California—helping golfers unleash the golfer within and play the game at a higher level.
